It is with profound sorrow that Sumter County educators and the Liberty STEAM Charter School community share the unexpected passing of Epiphany Anderson, our beloved Founding Office Coordinator & Leader Fellow at the Elementary Campus.
Ms. Anderson was the true definition of an outstanding educational professional. Her affectionate smile, bubbly personality, and exceptional dedication left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. A devoted supporter of our scholars, staff, and families, she believed deeply in the power of education and genuinely cared for all. Her presence will be deeply missed.
As we mourn this immense loss, our heartfelt condolences are with her family and all who loved her. Honoring her belief in learning, we will suspend MAP testing for the remainder of the week. Grief counselors will be on campus tomorrow to support our scholars and staff.
Though our hearts are heavy, we will strive to embody the spirit Epiphany brought to our halls every day. May the Liberty Flame continue to shine brightly in her memory, and may we carry forward her unwavering commitment to nurturing every child.
